Overview

Scrape posts from any X(Twitter) profile. Export as CSV or JSON with rich data.

X Profile Scraper lets you capture and export tweets from any public X profile page — no API keys, no automation, no bot-like behavior. You scroll naturally and the extension quietly collects data as you go. ### What You Can Export Each tweet is captured with 12 data fields: - Author Name — Display name of the tweet author - Handle — @username of the tweet author - Post Text — Full text content of the tweet - Timestamp — ISO 8601 date and time - Replies — Reply count - Retweets — Repost count - Likes — Like count - Views — View count - Links — External URLs, article cards, and video permalinks - Images — Direct image URLs (pbs.twimg.com CDN) - Videos — Video source URLs and poster thumbnails - Post Type — Original or Repost (distinguishes the profile owner's own tweets from reposted content) ### Features - Date Range Filter — Set optional start and end dates to capture only tweets from a specific time window. Both fields are independent and optional. - Dual Export Formats — Download as CSV (opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers) or JSON (for developers and data analysis). - Repost Detection — Automatically labels each tweet as "Original" or "Repost" by comparing the author's handle against the profile you're viewing. - Media Link Extraction — Captures full-resolution image URLs and video source links, not just the tweet permalink. - Zero Bot Behaviour — No auto-scrolling, no randomised delays, no hidden automation. You control the scroll; the extension listens and extracts. - Deduplication — Tracks every tweet by its unique numeric ID so you never get duplicates, even when X recycles DOM nodes as you scroll up and down. - SPA-Aware — Detects in-app navigation on X's single-page app and automatically stops scraping if you navigate away from the profile. ### How to Use 1. Navigate to any X profile page (e.g. x.com/username). 2. Click the extension icon in your toolbar. 3. Optionally set a date range and choose CSV or JSON. 4. Click Start Scraping. 5. Scroll through the profile to load tweets — the counter updates live as tweets are captured. 6. When you've scrolled far enough, click Stop & Download. ### Privacy - All scraping happens locally in your browser. No data is sent to any server. - The extension only runs on x.com and twitter.com pages. - No analytics, no tracking, no third-party scripts. ### Permissions - downloads — required to save the exported CSV or JSON file to your device. ### Notes - You must be logged into X to view profile content. - Only works on public profiles you can access. - The extension respects X's rate limits by relying on your natural scrolling speed — it does not send automated requests.
