Scram Keep Alive
Overview
Keeps Scram editor tabs (editor.buildwithscram.com) running at full speed while they're in the background.
Keep your Scram editor tabs working while you’re in another tab. When a Scram editor tab is in the background, Chrome slows it down, freezes it or unloads it to save resources. That means AI builds, previews and syncing can stall until you switch back. Scram Keep Alive makes background Scram tabs keep running as if you were still looking at them. What it does: Keeps the editor active: Scram behaves as if the tab is still visible and focused, so it doesn’t pause itself. Keeps timers and animations running at full speed while the tab is in the background. Stops Chrome’s Memory Saver from unloading Scram tabs, so work in progress isn’t lost. The toolbar popup lists your open Scram tabs and shows whether each one is protected. Getting started: Install the extension and reload any Scram tabs that are already open. Click once inside each Scram tab. Chrome needs a click before the silent tone can start. For extra protection, add editor.buildwithscram.com under chrome://settings/performance → “Always keep these sites active”. Privacy: Scram Keep Alive only runs on editor.buildwithscram.com. It doesn’t read your page content, collect any data or make network requests. Everything happens in your browser. Note: Chrome may show a small speaker icon on Scram tabs because of the silent tone. You won’t hear anything.
