Scoutpost Page Scout
Overview
Test public pages and create scheduled Page Scouts with your Scoutpost account.
Turn a public web page into a scheduled Scoutpost monitor without leaving your browser. Scoutpost Page Scout helps you follow updates to the pages that matter to your work—from public notices and policy pages to research and company announcements. HOW IT WORKS • Open a page and launch the extension. • Test whether Scoutpost can access the page. • Watch for changes generally, or describe the changes that matter to you. • Add topic labels and choose a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. • Confirm and create your Page Scout. Monitoring runs on Scoutpost’s servers, so you don’t need to keep Chrome open. Manage your Scouts and notifications in Scoutpost. REQUIREMENTS A Scoutpost account with access to Page Scouts is required. Scheduled monitoring uses Scoutpost credits. All schedules are set in UTC. PRIVACY AND ACCESS The extension uses the current tab’s URL and title to prepare your draft. It does not read your browsing history, browser cookies or page content from your browser. Scoutpost fetches the public page on its servers and cannot reuse your browser login to access restricted pages.
