ScopeCheck
Overview
Understand the access of your installed Chrome extensions and detect permission changes.
ScopeCheck inventories the Chrome extensions installed in the current profile and translates declared permissions into plain-language capabilities. It separates access to every website, wildcard domains, and specific sites; shows version and enabled state; and assigns a readable access-surface level. Save a local baseline to detect newly installed or removed extensions, added or removed permissions, version changes, and enabled-state changes. Export a local JSON audit report when needed. ScopeCheck is read-only: it cannot enable, disable, uninstall, or alter another extension. It has no host permissions, page-content access, server, analytics, or account. Access level describes declared capability, not developer intent or malware risk.
