Overview

Find out whether a research topic is worth your time by discovering publication trends on Scopus

This extension shows research trends by instantly plotting the number of publications over time of a certain Scopus query. The numbers shown on the charts are the Scopus output of your query counted by year, together with the normalized total number of world papers. With Scientific Publication Trends you can instantly see whether your research topic is growing more or less than the average. You can discover for example that autonomous driving research is booming. You can find out if a topic will likely grow for the next years or if it has already peaked. Whether you are an academic researcher, a wanna be entrepreneur, a journalist, a venture capital firm, or a curios citizen, this extension is for you! It requires no special permissions and is free to use. If you find any problem, please report it in the appropriate section before leaving a negative review, I will do my best to fix it!
