**Stop breaking your flow to hunt for a calculator.** SciCalc Sidekick lives in Chrome's side panel — always one keystroke away, never a lost tab — so you can compute right beside the paper, worksheet, or spec you're reading. **What it does** - **Expression engine** — type whole expressions, not button sequences: `(3.2e-4 * sin(pi/6))^2 / sqrt(2)`, evaluated as typed. Trig, logs, roots, factorials, permutations/combinations, and more. - **Unit-aware math** — `5 kg * 9.81 m/s^2 → 49.05 N`, `2 atm → 202.65 kPa`. Dimension mismatches come back as readable messages, never NaN. - **LaTeX-quality output** — every result is beautifully typeset with KaTeX. Copy any result as LaTeX for your report. - **Persistent history** — every calculation is saved on your device like a lab notebook: re-run, copy, or export. Survives restarts; never leaves your machine. - **DEG/RAD & high precision** — an always-visible angle-mode indicator, plus a 50+ significant-digit mode for when float64 isn't enough. - **Nine formula presets** — escape velocity, gravitational force, kinetic energy, ideal gas law, pendulum period, projectile range, population growth, molarity, and orbital period. Fill in the knowns, get a typeset answer. - **Quick popup + right-click capture** — a one-line quick calc from the toolbar, and "Send to SciCalc" to pull a selected number (with its units) straight into the panel. **Your data stays yours.** All computation happens on your device.
