School Lock
Overview
Only allows navigation to whitelisted sites. Password required to unlock.
School Lock keeps a Chromebook focused on school work. When it's on, the browser can only open websites on a parent-defined list; every other page redirects to a simple "not on the school list" screen. Turning it off requires a parent password. An optional schedule turns the lock on and off automatically on chosen days and hours. This is a focus tool, not a security tool. It doesn't stop a child from uninstalling the extension or using another profile — pair it with Google Family Link (or similar) if you need real enforcement. All settings stay on the device; nothing is collected or sent anywhere. If you forget the password, use the recovery code shown at setup; as a last resort, uninstalling and reinstalling the extension clears all settings.
