School Focus Helper

Visible school-time domain reporting to a paired Windows companion. Requires the separate School Focus Helper Windows app.

School Focus Helper supports visible, scheduled school-focus monitoring on a Windows PC. It requires the separately installed School Focus Helper Windows companion app. During configured school or homework sessions, the extension reports website hostnames and navigation times to the paired Windows app. The companion checks activity against the parent’s configured list of distracting websites, such as YouTube or social media. By default, the companion provides a reminder on the child’s PC after one minute of continuous activity on a listed distraction and sends an alert to the parent’s configured Telegram chat after three minutes. Parents can manage the schedule and supported settings through administrator-protected controls. Setup requires explicit agreement and browser pairing. No domain events are sent before agreement, outside active monitoring sessions, or after disconnecting the extension. The extension temporarily processes browser URLs to extract hostnames. It does not send full URL paths, search-query strings, page contents, passwords, screenshots, audio, or video. The Windows companion keeps local domain reports and may include a domain, computer name, and time in Telegram alerts. Private browsing is not supported. School-managed browsers may require administrator approval. Parents should explain the monitoring to their child. This extension does not work without the Windows companion app. Here is a link to Windows companion: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_jqj2bvIE7SsHLZR4g-eYQJUcI3xNj8w?usp=sharing
