Being your kids' learning coach means checking a dozen tabs every night: each class, each kid, a schedule on one site and grades on another. School Day puts it on one page. TODAY • What each kid turned in, with the time • Lessons they finished • Today's live classes, required or optional NEEDS ATTENTION • A one-line answer first: "2 assignments are overdue" • One to-do list: overdue work first, then what's due in the next three days • Busy self-paced courses fold into a single line • Hide anything that doesn't matter; optional work is set aside automatically • Grades in every course, lowest first, with the last change and any low scores this week • Teacher comments, announcements and your unread message count SCHEDULE • Every kid's live classes on one week or day calendar, color-coded • See when two kids have required classes at the same time AND • An evening summary on school days, at the time you choose • Lesson history follows you to any computer signed in to your Chrome (IDs and dates only) PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Read-only: it never types into, changes or submits anything at school, and never asks for a password • It uses the sign-ins you already have, in your own browser • Your family's information stays in Chrome; there's no School Day server and no analytics in the extension School Day is built for families at online schools that use a common learning platform with a parent login and a learning-coach dashboard for live classes. It's an independent helper and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any school or learning platform. It doesn't record attendance. Free during the beta.
