Send PDFs, research papers, and webpages to Gemini Notebook and generate organized artifacts.

Turn the source in your current tab into an organized Gemini Notebook workflow without repeating the setup by hand. ScholarRelay detects direct PDFs, arXiv papers, PDFs linked from webpages, and ordinary webpages. It reads trustworthy paper titles from HTML metadata and tries PDF URL import first, without downloading the file. It supports publisher links including eLife full papers. If no useful title is available, Gemini Notebook chooses the name. You can keep automatic naming in settings and place new notebooks in an existing collection. Choose any supported combination of Audio Overview, Video Overview, report, quiz, flashcards, infographic, slide deck, mind map, and data table. The compact popup keeps completed results and the notebook link visible. Generation continues after the popup closes. Optional notifications, a completion chime, and automatic notebook opening let you know when the result is ready. ScholarRelay uses the Gemini Notebook session already established in Chrome. It never asks for or stores your Google password or verification codes. After a confirmed PDF URL import or processing failure, ScholarRelay downloads and uploads the PDF once into the same notebook. If download access is required, the popup lets you grant permission for that website or select the file manually. Pending processing, timeouts, and uncertain responses do not trigger another upload. Direct PDF downloads and local uploads are limited to 40 MiB (40 × 1024 × 1024 bytes) to bound Chrome memory use. Larger remote PDFs use URL import, while larger local files can be uploaded directly in Gemini Notebook. ScholarRelay is an independent, open-source extension and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Google. Gemini Notebook was formerly named NotebookLM. ScholarRelay integrates with the consumer web application rather than an official consumer API, so service changes can affect compatibility.
