Scholar Watch helps keep track of Google Scholar profiles directly from a Chrome side panel. The extension is designed for researchers, advisors, graduate students, research managers, and anyone who wants a lightweight way to follow academic profiles over time. Add the profiles you want to monitor and follow key metrics such as citations, publication count, h-index, and i10-index without repeatedly opening each profile manually. Scholar Watch can also show top-cited publications, recent publications, and top co-authors, making it easier to notice and access meaningful changes at a glance. The extension supports manual and automatic refresh, and lets you customize each profile card by choosing what information to display. You can reorder profiles, adjust display density, switch between light and dark themes, and control the visibility of notification badges.
