Highlight a DOI, PubMed ID (PMID), PMC ID, ISBN, arXiv ID, ADS bibcode, or scholarly URL on any web page, right-click, and choose: • Cite with Scholar Sidekick — formatted citation in the style of your choice • Check retraction with Scholar Sidekick — Crossref + Retraction Watch • Check open access with Scholar Sidekick — Unpaywall; surfaces the best legal copy when one exists Or open the popup, paste an identifier, and run any combination of those — including a one-toggle "Include safety checks" that bundles retraction + open-access status into the cite flow. A "Verify ↗" button hands the selection off to the website citation verifier with your text already pre-filled in the form, so you can check whether a citation is genuine vs fabricated without retyping anything.
