Scholar Paper Reader – arXiv & IEEE
Overview
Extract abstracts, methods, conclusions from arXiv, IEEE, Elsevier, Scholar. Copy APA/MLA citations. Notes stay on-device.
Stop copy-pasting abstracts into another tool. Open an arXiv or IEEE paper, click Extract Paper, and get the abstract, methods, and conclusions in a side panel. Copy APA or MLA citations, then keep private notes in this browser only. Works on arXiv, IEEE Xplore, Elsevier ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. It does not request access to the rest of the web. • One-click extraction from the page you already opened • APA and MLA citations (GB/T 7714 is also available) • Notes stored only on your device — not uploaded to our servers • Free: 5 on-device summaries per day • Pro: unlimited summaries via ExtensionPay / Stripe (cancel anytime) On arXiv abstract pages and Google Scholar search results there is often no Methods section. The extension says so and asks you to open the HTML or PDF. On IEEE HTML papers it can pull methods and conclusions from the article body. Without an OpenAI key, summaries are produced on-device from the extracted text. An optional personal API key can be saved in Settings. Always proofread generated citations before submitting a manuscript.
