Schedule Companion for UCSD is an unofficial, local-first planning companion for UC San Diego students. It turns course information you choose from supported UCSD pages into a clearer schedule and keeps registration decisions in TSS. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Import visible course sections from UCSD TSS or Class Planner after reviewing the first-use privacy notice. - Review a five-day weekly timetable, course details, availability, time conflicts, and transition gaps. - Compare Walking and ADA campus routes using UCSD Enterprise GIS. The extension does not use device location or GPS. - Review confirmed final exams and clearly labeled general-pattern estimates. - Export class meetings, confirmed finals, UCSD holidays, and route notes to a local .ics calendar file. No calendar account is accessed. - Draft a four-year academic plan from public Catalog and Academic Plans information, then add or move your own planning items. - Save schedule snapshots and planning settings locally in this browser. PRIVACY BY DESIGN - A prominent first-use notice explains the data flow before schedule data is read or UCSD service requests are made. - No developer backend, analytics, telemetry, advertising, or data sale. - Active schedules use extension session storage; saved schedules, settings, planning data, consent, and a short-lived route cache stay in extension-local storage. - Source URLs are reduced to an approved UCSD origin/path and, when present, a normalized term code. Other query parameters and fragments are removed. - Settings includes a Clear all local data control.
