SayAfter — YouTube Shadowing
Overview
Fetches YouTube subtitles over your own connection so you can shadow any video, sentence by sentence, on SayAfter.
SayAfter turns any YouTube video into shadowing practice: word-level subtitles, a one-tap CUE point, hold-to-record, and instant playback against the original. This extension solves one problem: browsers block pages from requesting YouTube subtitles directly (same-origin policy). With the extension installed, subtitles are fetched inside the YouTube player frame over your own connection, so any video works instantly — no server in the middle. · Requests no permissions at all. · Collects no data. Your recordings stay in your browser. · Sends no cookies and never reads or modifies YouTube pages. · Runs only on the SayAfter site.
