Say Something
Overview
Contact your representatives about the news you're reading.
Read the news. Say something! Say Something turns the article you're reading into a message to your members of Congress โ in your own words, in about five seconds. ๐ Enter your address once to find your representatives ๐ฐ Click "Read this page" on any news article โ๏ธ Say how you feel in a sentence or two ๐ง Get a draft you can edit and send ๐ Or a phone script, if you'd rather call โค Find your representatives Enter your address once and Say Something shows your member of the House and both of your senators โ party, phone number, contact form, website, and social accounts. It remembers them, so you never have to look them up again. โค Write about what you're actually reading Open the side panel next to any news article and click "Read this page". Say Something reads the story so your message can reference what actually happened, instead of a vague summary. The panel stays open while you read, so nothing is lost when you click back to the page. โค Your words, not a form letter You write a sentence or two about how you feel. Say Something builds the message around that and won't invent opinions you didn't express. Every draft lands in an editable box, because a message that sounds like you counts for far more than a polished template. โค Three ways to reach them An email with a subject line, a phone script written for the staffer who actually answers, or a shorter message shaped for the contact form on their website. You only see the formats that representative supports, and the contact link sits right next to your draft. โค Private by design No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Your address is stored in your browser, and only your city and state are ever used in a message. Say Something reads a page only when you click the button โ never in the background. Say Something includes a few free drafts each week. If you'd like unlimited drafts, you can add your own Anthropic API key in settings and bill your own account instead. Built by one person. :) Questions or feedback are very welcome at say-something-ext@proton.me
