SavvyProof is a pre-launch quality gate for web developers and content teams. Open any page and check it before it ships. WHAT IT CHECKS Spelling — a curated list of common misspellings, with US-vs-Australian spellings reported separately as a locale choice rather than an error. Grammar — subject-verb agreement, articles, "could of", double negatives, its/it's, your/you're, repeated punctuation and lowercase sentence starts. Each finding shows the corrected sentence, ready to copy. AI-written signals — em-dash usage and around thirty stock phrases that appear far more often in generated copy than in human writing. Links — counts internal, external, anchor, email and phone links, probes each destination and reports broken ones by status code. Also flags placeholder links, non-descriptive link text, missing rel="noopener" and insecure http:// links on HTTPS pages. Markup — full tag inventory, deprecated elements, image alt coverage, unlabelled form fields, and a heading structure analysis with an SEO score and every deduction itemised. Metadata — title length and duplicate-word bugs, meta description, canonical, a noindex left over from staging, lang, viewport and Open Graph. Design — every font family, size and weight in use, plus the text and background colour palettes. HOW IT WORKS Everything above runs locally in your browser. No account, no sign-in, no server, and no page content leaves your machine. Results are kept for 24 hours so reopening a page you scanned earlier is instant, and the last 10 scans are kept as summaries so you can see whether your fixes improved the score. Export produces a branded PDF report through your browser's own print dialog. OPTIONAL AI FEATURES You can add your own Google Gemini API key to enable grammar rewrites, AI-text detection, tone review and per-issue fix guidance. This is entirely optional. Without a key every check above still works. When enabled, page text is sent to Google's Generative Language API using your key and is not sent anywhere else. Built by Savvy Signature.
