SaveIt Browser Integration

Send supported downloads to the SaveIt Windows desktop app. Requires SaveIt installed and running.

SaveIt Browser Integration connects Chrome with the SaveIt Windows desktop download manager. REQUIRES THE DESKTOP APP Install and run SaveIt on your Windows computer before using this extension. SaveIt can remain running in the system tray. FEATURES • Send supported links, images, audio, videos and direct files to SaveIt through the right-click menu. • Show a Download with SaveIt button on supported visible, playing videos. • Choose available video formats, then select a destination folder through the desktop app. • Optionally capture supported browser downloads and transfer them to SaveIt. • Optionally prepare video formats in the background to reduce the wait when opening the format chooser. OPTIONAL CONTROLS Automatic download capture and background format preparation are disabled by default on new installations. Enable or disable them from the extension popup. DATA HANDLING The extension sends relevant page/download URLs, filenames and download choices to the SaveIt application on your own computer. When background preparation is enabled, the playing video's page URL is sent before you click Download. SaveIt contacts the relevant website to analyze or download the requested content. LIMITATIONS Website and format support varies. DRM-protected content and some authenticated downloads are not supported. Some premium desktop features require a paid SaveIt license. Use SaveIt only for files and media you own or are authorized to download.
