SavedPixel HTML CSS JS Extractor helps developers, designers, QA teams, and content teams capture clean webpage sections from live sites without digging through raw source code. KEY FEATURES • Visual Element Picker — click to select full sections, components, navigation areas, content blocks, or individual elements from the current page • Polished Floating Panel — one-row toolbar with Enable/Export, Clear/Disable, Close, Settings, and Download controls • Cleaner Element Tree — inspect selected page structure with compact rows, badges, include/exclude buttons, and collapsible nesting • Include & Exclude Controls — remove unwanted child elements from a selected parent without losing the parent section • Persistent Picker Settings — control timestamped filenames, hover jump, overlay visibility, overlay style, overlay color, and tree depth from the Settings popover • Hover Highlighting — map tree rows back to the matching page elements with a visual overlay • Live Export Preview — inspect the rendered HTML output before downloading • Code View — review generated HTML with readable wrapping for long lines • Markdown Export — copy or download clean Markdown from selected content • Markdown SEO Export — generate structured SEO Markdown with page metadata, schema summaries, sections, links, images, CTAs, and FAQ-style content where available • Contextual Export Actions — Markdown actions only appear on the Markdown tab, and Markdown SEO actions only appear on the Markdown SEO tab • Selected HTML Export — select page elements, then click Export to preview, copy, or download standalone HTML • Full Page Inline HTML — capture the page body with inline styles and assets where possible • Bundled ZIP Export — save HTML, CSS, images, fonts, and optional scripts as local bundle files • Native MHTML Capture — use Chrome's native page capture flow for high-fidelity preservation • Clean Static ZIP — convert a native capture into a normalized static package with index.html and separate assets • Scoped Asset Collection — selected component bundles avoid unrelated full-page assets where possible • Font Handling — discover used font families, write deterministic font paths, and recover from stale font URLs when possible • Image Handling — keep images linked, inline them as data URLs, or include them as separate bundle files depending on export mode • DevTools Integration — export the currently inspected element directly from Chrome DevTools • Clean Output — excludes extension UI and unnecessary tracking/script noise from generated exports where possible • Local-First Privacy — no account, analytics, telemetry, or SavedPixel server upload is required IDEAL FOR • Developers saving reference implementations, UI components, and layout examples • Designers archiving visual patterns and page sections • QA teams documenting page states for bug reports • Content teams migrating website content into Markdown or SEO briefs • SEO teams extracting page metadata, headings, links, cards, and structured content • Anyone who needs a fast local copy of rendered HTML from a real webpage HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a webpage you want to inspect 2. Click the SavedPixel toolbar icon to show the extractor panel 3. Click Enable and select page elements visually 4. Refine the selection in the element tree with include/exclude controls 5. Open Settings if you need to adjust overlay, jump, filename, or tree-depth behavior 6. Click Download for quick download choices, or open the export modal for Preview, Code, Markdown, and Markdown SEO views 7. Copy or download the output format that matches the active tab PRIVACY SavedPixel runs locally in your browser. It reads the current page only so it can perform the extraction/export you request. It does not require an account, does not use analytics, does not track you, and does not send extracted page content to a SavedPixel server. The extension stores only local UI preferences with chrome.storage.local. When you request a bundle, page-linked CSS, fonts, images, and scripts may be fetched from their original hosting servers so they can be included in your local export.
