Overview

Detect, filter, and bulk-download images from the current page — fully local, no tracking.

■ Bulk-download the images on a web page — including the ones that are easy to miss. SaveAllPix scans the page you are viewing, lists the images it finds, and lets you filter by file type or URL and save the ones you pick — in a single pass. Click the toolbar icon and a side panel opens, scans that tab, and lays out the images it found. Detection and saving both happen entirely inside your browser. ────────────────── ■ Thorough detection ────────────────── SaveAllPix looks beyond the obvious <img> tags and picks up images that are commonly overlooked: ・<img>, srcset / <picture>, and lazy-loading attributes ・Full-size originals linked behind thumbnails ・CSS background images (including image-set()) ・data: and blob: images ・Images inside Shadow DOM and same-origin <iframe> elements Fewer "it never showed up in the list" and "I only got the thumbnail" moments. ────────────────── ■ The highest resolution available ────────────────── When srcset or similar markup offers several candidate sizes, the built-in resolver picks the largest one. You save the full-size image rather than the scaled-down version shown on screen. ────────────────── ■ Filter and select ────────────────── ・Extension filter: toggle the file types found on the page on and off. ・URL filter: show or hide images by the source URL folder they are served from. ・Duplicate removal: exact URL duplicates are always merged automatically. ・Selection: tick images individually, use Select all / Deselect all, or Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) + A. Selection always applies to the images currently visible under your filters. ・Lightbox: enlarge an image to check its file name, extension and size — and save that single image on the spot. ────────────────── ■ Saved, already organised ────────────────── "Save" downloads your selection into a subfolder named after the page title, numbered in order. Progress is shown while it runs, and you can cancel partway through. The ▼ menu next to the Save button offers alternative save methods. Today that is "Save with sequential filenames" — your selected images are renamed 1, 2, 3… in the order they appear on the page. More options are planned. ────────────────── ■ Runs entirely in your browser ────────────────── ・Everything from detection to saving happens locally. No images, URLs or browsing information are sent to any external server. ・It requests six permissions only: activeTab, scripting, downloads, storage, offscreen and sidePanel. It does not request blanket access to all sites (no host_permissions) — it works on the tab where you clicked the button. ・No logo, company name or watermark is ever added to the images or file names you save. ────────────────── ■ English / Japanese ────────────────── The interface follows your browser's language setting and switches between English and Japanese automatically. ────────────────── ■ Good for ────────────────── ・Saving the images you need from articles, product pages and reference material in one pass. ・Getting the largest available version of an image instead of the thumbnail. ・Narrowing down by file type or URL and taking only the images you actually want. ────────────────── ■ Before you use it ────────────────── What you may download, and how you may use it, is governed by the terms of service and the copyright of the site concerned. SaveAllPix provides the technical means only. When an image cannot be retrieved, the reason is shown on screen. * Images inside cross-origin <iframe> elements are not collected. Collecting them would require broad host permissions, which this extension deliberately avoids.
