Overview
Gives the option to save WEBP images to JPG/PNG
A new "Save Image As..." with the icon of the extension will appear when you right-click an image. You need to use this, because it's not possible to modify the behavior of chrome's native "Save image as..." context menu option. .webp images can be a nuisance to deal with, here you're given an option to save the image as either a JPG or PNG instead. Conversion is done for you, directly.

UPDATE 4: I am having too many problems with this extension, Save WEBP as JPG/PNG. Even after turning off and on again, it almost never works on any site I try to use it on. Although the dev is a kind and dedicated person, I am too tired of reporting bugs for it. So for that reason, I am uninstalling it, and sticking with Convert WebP to JPG, which is working more consistently for me. Hi Crystal, Thank you for contacting me about it and opening a GitHub issue, I'll respond there. *EDIT: Thank you for your cooperation, the issue has been resolved. The new version (1.2) with the fix applied should be available soon.

Doesn't work for me. I right-click a webp-image, and select the new (add-on) option to "Save image as..." but nothing happens! :/

Hi Neko, Thank you for letting me know. However, I'm not able to reproduce the error. To help me debug the issue you're facing, can you confirm that the following: 1. The extension is on version 1.1 (if you go to "chrome://extensions/" in your address bar, decimal number next to the extension's name) 2. What is your chrome version (if you go to "chrome://version/" in your address bar, first info) I'm aware that you can't reply to this. Will only save as PNG option even though i have jpg selected.

Hi KRMedley, Thank you for signaling this! You're right, it seems that it now forces PNG despite selecting JPG. I'll look into it and update you when the issue is fixed. *EDIT: The new version with the fix has been uploaded. The extension should be automatically updated soon!
