Save to Photos
Overview
Save public web images to Photos on macOS using a companion shortcut. English and Chinese interface.
Save public web images to Photos on your Mac from Chrome’s right-click menu. Requires macOS and the free companion shortcut. Install the shortcut first using the setup link in the extension popup or at https://github.com/ARE404/chrome-save-to-photos#setup. • Right-click a public image and choose Save to Photos. • Keep browsing without opening a handoff tab by default. • Optional handoff page with a manual retry button. • English and Chinese interface; settings are saved locally. • No analytics, ads, developer server, or photo-library access. The shortcut downloads the image from its original website and saves it to Photos. Your existing iCloud Photos settings apply. The extension cannot confirm successful saving. Public HTTP/HTTPS images only; login-protected, blob/data, and hotlink-protected images are not supported. macOS only; does not work on Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS.
