Save to Gotcha
Overview
Save images to your local GotchaBoard
Save images from any webpage to your local GotchaBoard. GotchaBoard is a self-hosted image bookmarking app. This extension connects to your local GotchaBoard server so you can save, tag, and organize images from the web — all stored privately on your own machine. HOW IT WORKS • Click the extension icon to scan the page for images, select one or more, add tags, and save them all at once • Or right-click any image and choose "Save to Gotcha" for a quick single save • Images are saved directly to your local GotchaBoard library REQUIREMENTS • GotchaBoard must be running on your computer • Download GotchaBoard: https://github.com/philhoyt/GotchaBoard PRIVACY • All images are saved locally — nothing is uploaded to any cloud • The extension only communicates with your local GotchaBoard server (localhost) • No analytics, no tracking, no data collection PERMISSIONS • "Active tab" — required to scan the current page for images when you click the extension icon • "Scripting" — used to read image URLs from the active tab • "Context menus" — adds the "Save to Gotcha" right-click option on images • "Storage" — saves your server URL preference locally in Chrome • "Tabs" — used to identify the active tab when the picker is opened Open source: https://github.com/philhoyt/GotchaBoard
