Overview

Find the events on a web page and save them to Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar (.ics). Adds Zoom links.

Save to Calendar finds the events on the web page you're reading, or in anything you paste from another app, and saves them in seconds. No more retyping titles, times, rooms or Zoom links. FEATURES • Reads the page's own event data, and plain listings too: date badges, time lines, "Location:" fields and day-by-day agendas. • Highlight to choose: select the text of one or more events before opening the extension, and only those are checked. • Zoom links come along. The join link and meeting ID go into the notes, and when a listing only says "online", the extension checks that item's own page on the same site for the link. • Edit in place: click a title, time or place to change it. • Stays open: drag the window anywhere and keep reading and copying. Close it with × when you're done. Prefer a classic popup? Switch to it in Settings (⚙). • Copy without retyping: highlight any text and use it as a title, time, place, Zoom link or note. • Works with Microsoft Outlook (desktop, work or school accounts, and Outlook.com), Google Calendar and Apple Calendar through standard .ics files. • Respects time zones shown next to the time, such as PT, ET or CET. • Reads dates in many languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French and Spanish, even in listings Chrome translated for you. • Light and dark mode. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a site that lists events: a seminar series, a meetup, a conference program or a single talk. 2. Click the toolbar icon. A small window opens on the page, with each event as a card: title, date, time and place. 3. The window stays open while you scroll and read. Highlight any text to copy it into a card, or click any detail to change it. 4. Download one .ics file with everything you checked, or open any item in Outlook on the web as a ready-to-save new entry. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • It runs only when you open it, and only on that tab. • Everything happens in your browser. No account, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is sent to the developer. • Details leave your browser only when you click "Open in Outlook", which hands them to Microsoft's form. PERMISSIONS • activeTab: read the page you're on, only at the moment you open the extension. • scripting: run the extension's own finder on that tab. WHAT'S NEW - 1.1.4 (October 14, 2026) Fixed: the time zone converts to your local time - 1.1.3 (October 12, 2026) New • Every entry now shows its description, ready to edit. Fixed • Places were missing when a site marked them only with a map pin, or wrote them with no label. -1.1.2 (October 9th 2026) • Support for more languages. • A paste box at the top: copy an event from another app or a message, and it's added in one step, even one written in another language. • Talks are named after their speaker too, as in "Kate White — Machine learning…", when the listing gives one. • Smarter titles on event lists in other languages: each talk's real name instead of a category label such as "Workshop" or "Abstract". • A notice's posting date is no longer mistaken for the event itself, and a written weekday now settles the year when none is given. • Items from WordPress plugins that last all day are shown that way, and quotation marks in titles appear properly instead of as raw HTML codes. -1.1.1 (October 8th 2026) • Buttons for all three calendars on each card, to save any entry straight to the one you use. • The work or personal account choice for Outlook moved into Settings. -1.1.0 (October 6th 2026) • A floating panel that stays open on the site while you read, in place of the popup (still available in Settings). • Selected text can fill in any field of an entry. • Changes are kept when you close and reopen the panel. • A larger toolbar icon. -1.0.0 (October 5th 2026) • First release. GOOD TO KNOW On sites without built-in data, the extension reads the text and makes its best guess, so take a quick look before saving. If nothing shows up, highlight the text you want and try again, or add the item by hand. Save to Calendar is an independent project, not affiliated with Microsoft, Google, Apple or Zoom.
