The image downloads as usual, and the extension quietly saves a local citation record: the source page and its title, the image URL, the caption and alt text, the nearest heading and paragraph, and standard page metadata. No more mystery files named download (37).jpg with no trail back to their source. Built for research, coursework, reporting, and archiving — anywhere you need to cite, verify, or trace an image back to its source. WHAT GETS CAPTURED WITH EVERY IMAGE Image details: URL, alt text, title, aria-label, figure caption, referrer policy Page details: URL and title, canonical URL, hostname, meta description, Open Graph title and description Surrounding context: nearest heading, nearest paragraph, enclosing link and its text YOUR LOG, YOUR CONTROL Review recent captures and their context on the options page Export everything as JSON or CSV (Excel-safe) Clear the entire log with one click, any time Holds up to 5,000 records PRIVACY: 100% LOCAL Nothing is ever uploaded.
