Save a local or right-clicked image as JPG, PNG, or WebP directly in Chrome. CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT • Right-click an image and choose Save as PNG, Save as JPG, or Save as WebP. • In the result tab, confirm image-host access and convert the selected image. • Or open the toolbar popup and choose or drop a local image. • Adjust JPG or WebP quality and choose a JPG background color. • Convert and download the output to your device. TRANSPARENCY AND QUALITY PNG and WebP preserve transparency. JPG replaces transparent areas with white or your chosen background color. JPG and WebP quality controls let you adjust the output; results depend on the source image and browser encoder. LOCAL PROCESSING Conversion uses your browser's image encoder. No extension account, subscription, file upload, analytics, or cloud conversion service is required. Your images are not sent to AnyFileTool by the extension. YOU CONTROL WEBSITE ACCESS Local files require no website permission. Reading an online image requests access only to the selected image's origin after a user click. You can refuse or revoke this permission. Remote image requests do not send cookies or referrer information. Redirected, login-protected, blob, and inaccessible images may require downloading the image and choosing it locally. SUPPORTED FILES Still PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP, up to 20 MB, 24 megapixels, and 16,384 pixels on either side. SVG, GIF, HEIC, AVIF, PDF, batch, and animation conversion are not supported. Conversion does not increase the source resolution or recover lost detail. PRIVACY Only the image you select is processed. The extension does not read browsing or download history, save a conversion history, or track you. Download access is used to save and monitor your requested output. The downloaded file remains where you save it; temporary extension tasks are removed after use or result-tab closure. An optional link opens AnyFileTool without attaching your image.
