Save Image As PNG/JPG/WebP

Right-click any image to save it as JPG or PNG with its original file name. WebP and SVG images convert right in your browser.

Save Image As PNG/JPG/WebP adds one entry to the right-click menu. It saves a picture from a website in the format you choose. Right-click a picture, choose Save image as PNG/JPG/WebP and pick a format. The file is converted inside your browser and saved under the picture's original name. It is for anyone who downloads a WebP their photo app won't open, or needs a JPG to attach or upload somewhere. 🖼️ WebP and SVG pictures saved as everyday JPG and PNG files 📁 The original file name stays, in any language 🔒 Free, with no account, and images are never uploaded What you get: --------------------- ✅ A transparent picture saved as JPG gets a white background, not a black one. PNG keeps the transparency ✅ SVG graphics are saved at their own size ✅ Photos are saved upright, the way the camera recorded them ✅ An animation saves its first frame ✅ Some sites refuse downloads from outside their pages. For those, the extension tries again from inside the page ✅ Ask where to save each file, or save straight to Downloads or a folder inside it ✅ Set the quality for JPG and WebP files in the popup ✅ When a save fails, a short message on the page says why, for example "Couldn't load this image." Saves in private windows are not counted Good to know: --------------------- The menu entry appears on pictures in the page. A picture drawn on a canvas or set as a page background has no entry. Very large files, over 100 megapixels or 50 MB, are refused so the tab doesn't freeze. A picture with no name of its own, such as one embedded in the page's code, is saved as "image".
