Overview

Right click any image, even one behind a clear link overlay, and save it as JPG, PNG or WebP. Converted locally. No tracking.

Save the photo you actually wanted, even when the site hides it. Many news, sports and shopping sites lay a clear link over their photos. When you right click, your browser only sees the link, and the normal "Save image as" choice is missing. This extension looks under the link, finds the photo, and saves it for you. How it works: 1. Right click an image (or a photo covered by a link). 2. Choose Save as PNG, JPG or WebP, then the format you want. 3. Chrome's own Save As window opens, so you pick the name and folder. Converted on your computer: Every image is converted inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server, because there is no server. JPG files get a white background where the original was transparent, and PNG and WebP keep transparency. One quality setting (default 92) controls JPG and WebP. No tracking: No analytics, no ads, no accounts, no remote code. The only network request the extension makes is for the image you chose, sent straight to the site that image comes from, just like your browser already did to show it. Asks for as little as possible: No scary "read all your data on all websites" warning at install. The extension only gets access to the tab you are on, at the moment you use the menu. If an image lives on a different site that blocks this, a notification lets you allow that one site, and you can remove it again at any time. Also handy: Works with SVG, GIF (first frame), WebP, PNG, JPG and inline images. Clear notifications explain anything that could not be saved. Photo metadata such as location is not copied into the new file.
