Overview

Automatically generates Technical Specification documents from your SAP CPI iFlows directly from the browser.

SAP BTP - CITS (Cloud Integration Technical Specification) SAP CITS is a purpose-built Google Chrome extension designed to streamline the documentation workflow for SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) architects and developers. It automatically generates fully formatted Microsoft Word (.doc) Technical Specification documents directly from the browser by reading active iFlows. Core Functionality Automated Documentation: Generates comprehensive technical specs with a single click via a draggable widget injected directly into the SAP CPI interface. Data Extraction: Seamlessly intercepts and extracts iFlow structures, metadata, and script data from the active web page without requiring manual data entry. Visual Architecture: Automatically renders high-level architectural diagrams (e.g., Sender to Cloud Connector to iFlow to Receiver) using a custom HTML5 Canvas drawing utility. Secure Local Processing: Operates 100% client-side, ensuring that sensitive enterprise integration data never leaves the browser and no external servers are involved. Technical Architecture Background Service Worker: A Manifest V3 background script that manages automatic tab reloads for https://*[.hana.ondemand.com/](https://.hana.ondemand.com/)* URLs, ensuring the interceptor catches the initial data fetch upon installation or startup. Content Script: The core logic injected into the page that manages the floating UI widget, handles user preferences via Chrome local storage, and orchestrates the final document generation. Diagram Generator: A native, dependency-free JavaScript module that dynamically calculates and draws deduplicated system diagrams on the fly. Zip Utilities: A lightweight custom utility that handles the creation of uncompressed ZIP blobs to package the XML files into the final .doc structure locally.
