Marks wording slips in any text box as you write. Checked on your own computer, never uploaded. The SansTypo app adds spelling.

SansTypo marks wording slips in the text box you are typing in and offers a one-click fix. It works in a comment box, an email draft, a form or a chat composer, on any site you allow it on. To use it: open its toolbar popup on a page and choose "Check This Page", or right-click in a text box and choose "Proofread with SansTypo". Either one checks that page straight away. "Allow All Sites…" in the popup makes it check as you type, everywhere, and you can withdraw that at any time. With nothing else installed it catches repeated words, "a" where it should be "an", a lowercase "i", doubled spaces, a space before punctuation, common word confusions and some subject-verb disagreements. Each one is underlined where it happens, with a small Fix / Skip card. You accept it or you ignore it. On AI chat sites it adds an Enhance button inside the composer. Enhance rewrites the prompt you have already typed: it trims filler and adds a line of guidance for the kind of thing you are asking. It edits your own draft, in your own text box, before you send it. It sends nothing to the AI service and changes nothing about how that service works. Spelling needs the free SansTypo desktop app. When the app is running, the extension hands it the text of the field over a connection that never leaves your computer, and gets back spelling as well as wording. The app is not required to install this extension and not required to use it. What it does not do: - No account, no sign-in, nothing to buy. - No servers. The extension makes no network requests at all, so nothing you type can be uploaded. - It does not ask to read every page you visit when you install it. Until you allow that from the popup, it reads only the page you open the popup on. - It never reads password fields, one-time codes, or fields a site marks as card or password entry. - Private and incognito windows are skipped.
