Sanctum is a focus-support browser extension for YouTube. It helps you notice repeated feed checking, Shorts scrolling, and refresh loops, then adds a brief pause before you continue. Sanctum does not forcibly block YouTube or restrict your access. Instead, it adds gentle visual cues and short delay prompts when browsing starts to drift into automatic patterns. This gives you a moment to decide whether to keep watching, take a break, or return to your original purpose. "Would a short break be better?" Privacy and local-first design Sanctum is designed with a local-first approach. Core detection, browsing-state checks, and screen adjustments run inside your browser. Raw URLs, search queries, page contents, and typed text are not sent to external servers for the core experience. If you explicitly opt in to improvement feedback, Sanctum may send minimal, non-identifying summary data to help improve filtering rules and product quality. This data is designed to exclude email addresses, account information, raw URLs, page text, and personal identifiers. Sanctum is not a tool for judging or controlling your habits.
