Overview

Query, inspect and edit Salesforce records with SOQL/SOSL, bulk-load data from a file, and explore schema, events and logs.

Updates in 0.4.2: * Work as any Salesforce user in an org — connect several identities and switch between them instantly. * Full support for Login As: the side panel now follows impersonated sessions instead of blocking them. * Switch identity straight from the header chip that names who you're running as. * A persistent "Acting as" strip means you always know whose access your results reflect. * Each identity gets its own caches, history and schema — two users in one org never see each * other's data. * Query tabs now group by user and org, and cross-org tabs stay bound to the org you assigned. * Data Loader: refresh an org's schema without reloading, and recover a dropped session in place. * Faster org switching and fewer redundant API calls through smarter limit polling and schema caching. * Clearer errors that tell you what to actually do — like switching API endpoint instead of chasing a permission. * Broad reliability pass across sessions, guards and the org picker. Salesforce Query Chains is a developer tool for the org you're already signed into. Open it on any Salesforce tab and it picks up the org and the record in front of you. No setup, no connected app to configure, nothing to type — it runs on the session you already have. Orgs locked down to approved apps sign in with one click instead. Works the same against sandboxes, Developer Editions and production. 🔍 QUERY • SOQL and SOSL with autocomplete, inline schema hints and a query-plan preview • Results in a virtualised table — sort, filter and drill into any record • Export to CSV, XLSX or JSON • Bulk API 2.0 for large extracts, with Id-keyset chunking for the objects that would otherwise time out ⚙️ DEV CONSOLE • Run Anonymous Apex and read the debug log beside the script that produced it — the log's own highlighting, SOQL and DML counts, and logged structures drawn as a tree instead of a wall of text • Every script tab runs on its own, so a long run never blocks the next one • Call the org's REST API, a Named Credential, or any external host — the last two are issued by Salesforce itself, so the extension needs no permission to reach the open web • Compose requests the way you already know — params, headers, body, variables — then copy the whole thing out as cURL, Apex or Node • Explore GraphQL against a browsable schema, or build a query without writing any GraphQL. Translate a SOQL query you already have, or turn a GraphQL document back into SOQL 📥 LOAD DATA FROM A FILE • Drop in a CSV, JSON or spreadsheet and map it to any object — insert, update, upsert or delete • Files are read in your browser. There is no upload server: your rows go to your org and nowhere else • Match on any external Id, resolve lookups by value, and load parents and children together in one pass • Clean data on the way in — trim, case, split, concat, defaults, phone normalisation, value maps — without touching the file first • Every load is previewed before it runs, and updates and upserts download a rollback receipt of the previous values before the first write lands • Interrupt a record-collection load and it picks up where it stopped — committed rows are never sent twice ✏️ INSPECT AND EDIT • A side panel that follows the tab you're on — record fields, schema and a mini query box, right next to the record • Edit fields inline, or clone and create from a draft that writes nothing until you confirm • Who can access this record — the four access booleans, plus the profile, permission set, sharing rule or ownership that actually explains them 🧭 EXPLORE THE ORG • Jump to any object, Setup page, recent record or user from one omnibox • Paste a record Id and go straight to it • Blast radius — the Apex, Flows and components that depend on an object or field 🐞 WATCH AND DEBUG • Platform Events monitor — subscribe to platform events, Change Data Capture, generic channels and PushTopics, resuming from the last replayId • Debug Log analyzer — governor-limit usage, self-time hot spots, deduplicated SOQL flagged for repeats and loops, and a trace view tying exceptions, DML and callouts to the call stack they happened in • Destructive actions are always behind a confirmation step 🔒 YOUR ORG DATA STAYS YOURS Your Salesforce session never leaves your browser. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting — and no server of ours for your data to land on. Everything goes to the orgs you choose and nowhere else.
