Overview

Salesforce Nexus: check user access, search Setup, and navigate your org faster — admin & developer productivity in one toolbar.

Salesforce Nexus — Navigate. Discover. Accomplish. A toolbar for Salesforce admins and developers, built around one job: help you find things in your org and understand what's happening in it, faster than clicking through Setup. Everything lives behind one button in the header — "🧰 Nexus Tools" — which opens a side panel with four tools: ACCESS X-RAY Stop guessing why a user can or can't read/edit a record or field. Pick a user, a record, and optionally a field — see exactly why, broken down by: - Record Access — owner, org-wide defaults, sharing rules, manual shares, role hierarchy, queue membership - Object Permissions — CRUD and View All/Modify All, attributed to the exact Profile, Permission Set, or Permission Set Group responsible - Field-Level Security — Read/Edit access, same source attribution APEX TEST RUNNER Search for a test class by name, click Run, and watch results come in — pass/fail per test method with failure messages, plus code coverage percentages for every class or trigger the run touched. No more bouncing to Setup's Apex Test Execution page. DEPLOYMENT STATUS VIEWER See your last 20 deployments at a glance — type, status, component/test counts. Click into any deployment to see exactly which components failed and why. DEBUG LOG VIEWER Pick a user, see whether tracing is currently on or off for them, and browse their recent debug logs. Choose how many to show (5/10/20/50, newest first) so you're not digging through fifty logs to find the one you just generated. Open any log in a full new tab for easy reading and native browser search (Ctrl/Cmd+F). SMART HEADER TOOLBAR A persistent toolbar on every Salesforce page, including Setup: - Instant fuzzy search across major Setup pages - A live search mode — switch the dropdown to Profile, Permission Set, or Flow and search real org records by name, opening straight to that record - One-click Setup, Developer Console, and Object Manager - Favorites, recently-visited pages, a collapsible/draggable toolbar, and a customizable header color READ-ONLY BY DESIGN Salesforce Nexus never creates, updates, or deletes records in your org. Every feature — including Apex Test Runner and Debug Log Viewer — only reads data via the Salesforce API. Running Apex tests triggers Salesforce's own test execution (identical to clicking "Run All Tests" in Setup); nothing else in the extension writes anything. PRIVACY Runs entirely in your browser, talking directly to your own Salesforce org using your existing logged-in session. Nothing is sent to any third-party server. No tracking, no analytics, no ads. See our privacy policy for full details.
