SaleCheck is a clean, simple price tracker for Amazon. Click the Track Product button in the extension while on a product page, and SaleCheck checks the price every day so you only buy when it is actually a good deal. WHAT IT DOES • Track any Amazon.com product in one click. Go to the product page, hit Track, done. • Daily price refresh at 7:30 AM local time. • Real deal scoring, not just "on sale." Every product is graded against its 90-day range: Historic Low, Great Deal, Good Price, Fair Price, or Overpriced. • 90-day context on hover: lowest, highest, and average price so you can tell a real drop from a fake markdown. • Seller scarcity warnings when only a handful of sellers are left. • Honest sale badges. SaleCheck flags inflated manufacturer prices so you know if the discount is unreliable. • Anonymous savings tracker. Confirm a purchase and SaleCheck logs how much you saved, visible in the extension. • Color-coded tiers for better readability. Instantly know which products you are tracking have great deals and which ones don't. WHY IT EXISTS Most price tracking extensions are noisy, cluttered with ads, or require you to make accounts. SaleCheck does none of that. Version 1 has no user-specific tracking beyond an anonymous install ID used only for rate limiting. Your product list lives in your browser. Savings totals are aggregated anonymously to populate Pig World. A LITTLE PERSONALITY SaleCheck comes with a small pig companion in the corner of the popup. It sleeps when your list is empty, wakes up when you are tracking products, and celebrates when you confirm a purchase. Hit savings milestones and your pig earns accessories: party hat at $50, pirate at $200, cyborg at $500, crown at $1000. Tap the arrow next to it to visit Pig World, where you can see how many other SaleCheck users are in each tier and how much they have saved together. It is optional flair. The tracker works whether you look at the pig or not. PRIVACY • No account, no login, no email. • Anonymous random ID generated on install, used only so we can rate-limit. • Your tracked product list is stored locally in your browser. A silent backup is kept in Chrome sync so your list survives a cache wipe. • We never sell, share, or analyze your data. Full policy at https://salecheck.app/privacy. DATA SOURCE Price history, current price, and 90-day statistics are provided by Keepa, a third-party Amazon price data service.
