SafePaste is a subscription-based Chrome extension that helps users review prompt text before sending it to supported AI websites. After sign-in and an active SafePaste subscription, the extension checks prompt text locally in the browser and shows a review step when it detects possible secrets or sensitive work data, such as API keys, access tokens, database URLs, client information, financial details, legal content, or other sensitive text. SafePaste works on supported AI websites including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot.
