SafePaste gives you one more chance to catch sensitive work data before an AI prompt leaves your browser. Write and paste as usual. When you press Send on a supported AI website, SafePaste checks the prompt locally. If it finds possible secrets or sensitive context, it pauses the send and shows a review. You can replace detected values with clear placeholders, edit the safer version, send the original, or cancel. Write or paste a prompt in a supported AI chat. 2. Press Send as you normally would. 3. SafePaste checks the prompt on your device. 4. If something needs attention, review the detected values before anything is sent. 5. Send a version with semantic placeholders, edit it, continue with the original, or cancel. KEEP THE PROMPT USEFUL Instead of flattening every value into [REDACTED], SafePaste can use stable placeholders such as [EMAIL_1], [CLIENT_1], [PROJECT_1], [REVENUE_1], and [BANK_ACCOUNT_1]. The AI can still follow the structure of the task without receiving the live value. LOCAL BY DESIGN • Prompt detection and redaction run locally in the browser • Prompt text is not uploaded to SafePaste for scanning • Custom sensitive dictionary terms remain in local extension storage • Temporary placeholder mappings remain on the device • AI responses containing known placeholders can be restored locally when needed • Aggregate account usage events do not contain prompt text, restored text, custom terms, or mappings PROTECTION PROFILES Choose a profile shaped around your work: Finance / Investing, Accounting / Finance, Consulting / Strategy, Coding / Engineering, Legal / Compliance, or General.
