Overview
Reviews chain-bound EIP-7702 rescue authorizations for SafeExit.
SafeExit Source Signer is the local signing component for SafeExit, a non-custodial wallet incident-response service. It reviews and locally signs short-lived, chain-bound EIP-7702 delegation and clearing authorizations for a rescue plan initiated on https://safeexit.xyz. It is currently limited to X Layer mainnet. Before signing, the extension displays and verifies the source wallet, fixed destination, chain, delegate and factory, action commitment, nonce, and expiry. The user must confirm that they are authorised to control the source wallet. IMPORTANT KEY HANDLING The source private key is entered only inside the extension popup and used locally for one signing session. It is never transmitted to SafeExit, RPC providers, analytics services, or any third party. It is not stored in Chrome storage, browser storage, logs, or a SafeExit database. The input is cleared after the signing attempt. The extension does not take custody of assets, broadcast the rescue transaction, modify the destination, or guarantee recovery. The destination wallet submits and pays for the transaction after reviewing the final package. Recovery is best effort because another party controlling the same source key may race or invalidate a rescue. Use SafeExit only with wallets you are legally authorised to control. Never enter a seed phrase on the SafeExit website.
