Overview

Copy all open tab URLs as plain text, Markdown, JSON, CSV, or TSV. Zero tracking, no servers, no accounts.

Copy all open Chrome, Firefox, or Safari tab URLs in one click — as plain text, Markdown links, a Markdown list, a JSON array, CSV, or TSV. Works across all windows. Zero tracking, no servers, no accounts. OUTPUT FORMATS • Plain text — one URL per line • Markdown — [Page Title](https://url) for Obsidian, Notion, GitHub • Markdown list — same links as a bullet list, with any extra fields as sub-bullets • JSON — {"url": "..."} array for scripts and AI assistants, with more fields when you check them • CSV — spreadsheet-ready, columns adjust to whichever options you check • TSV — tab-separated, same behavior as CSV OPTIONAL FIELDS Check any combination to add: page title, tab position (index), tab ID / opener tab ID, numeric tab group, and last-accessed time. Nothing is included unless you ask for it — with everything unchecked, output is just the URL. ALL WINDOWS Check "Include all windows" to collect tabs from every open window at once. Output is broken into a section per window, with incognito windows flagged. PRIVACY FIRST This extension requests only the "tabs" permission — used to read the URL, title, index, tab/opener/group IDs, last-accessed time, and incognito flag of open tabs, only for the fields you check. There are no background processes, no data collection, no external servers, no cookies, no analytics, and no host permissions. Your browsing data never leaves your device. Full privacy policy: https://muminkoykiran.com.tr/safe-tab-url-lister/privacy.html HOW TO USE 1. Click the Safe Tab URL Lister icon in your toolbar 2. Choose your output format and any optional fields 3. Optionally check "Include all windows" to collect tabs from every open window 4. Click Copy — the full list is now in your clipboard COMMON USE CASES • Snapshot your research session before closing your browser • Share a reading list with colleagues as Markdown links • Feed your open tabs to an AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) as JSON for analysis • Export to CSV or TSV and track links in a spreadsheet • Build runbooks and documentation from your browser session FAQ Q: Does this extension track my browsing? A: No. Zero network requests are made. No data ever leaves your device. You can verify this in DevTools — there is no outbound traffic. Q: What permissions does it need? A: Only the "tabs" permission, which allows reading the list of open tabs and the fields listed above. No host permissions, no storage, no cookies, no identity access. Q: Does it work across multiple windows? A: Yes. Check "Include all windows" to collect URLs from every open window at once. Q: Is the source code available? A: Yes. Full source is on GitHub under MIT license: https://github.com/muminkoykiran/safe-tab-url-lister Q: What is the JSON format? A: Each tab becomes an object with a "url" field by default, plus title, index, id, openerTabId, groupId, incognito, or lastAccessed when you check their options. Paste it into any AI assistant or script to process your tab list programmatically. Q: Does this work in Firefox and Safari too? A: Yes. The same extension, with the same single "tabs" permission, is also available for Firefox and Safari.
