Our extension provides you with a simple and efficient way to have a quick preview of the content before you even click on the URL and proceed to the destination page. After installing this extension to your browser, your default search will be changed to our domain powered by Yahoo. Type the queries in your browser’s address bar and go to the result page. For all non-commercial (sponsored ads) results, you can simply move your mouse cursor to hover over the result and a preview window will appear to give you a quick look at how the webpage looks like. It saves you time navigating to navigate to the destination and prevents you from being exposed to inappropriate content. The functionality of this extension can be enabled and disabled at any time. Permissions used and reasons: 1. Access to “contextMenus”. We require this permission to add items to the drop-down menu from the extension’s action icon to improve our service and user experience. 2. Access to “declarativeNetRequest”. We require these permissions in order to redirect your browser’s default search to our search domain safepreviewsearch.com powered by Yahoo. In order to provide the functionality of previewing website content, we need the Yahoo feed. We cannot display the preview on other search feeds. 3. Access to “storage”. We respect your privacy and save all your preferences locally on the client side.
