Overview

Lets your local RushAgent use a named Chrome tab group. RushAgent asks you in the app before an agent uses a site.

RushAgent for Chrome connects Google Chrome to the RushAgent desktop app on the same computer, so the agents you run in RushAgent can work in your own Chrome, where you are already signed in. How it works • Each agent chat gets its own named tab group, "RushAgent · <chat name>". The agent opens, reads and uses pages only in the tabs of that group. Your other tabs and windows stay out of its reach. • You decide which sites an agent may use, in the RushAgent app. The first time an agent wants a new site, RushAgent asks you in the chat: Allow once, Always allow, Allow all sites, or Deny. You can remove sites at any time in Agent settings → Computer → My Chrome usage. • Every command the app sends carries the list of sites you approved. The extension refuses any other page before it opens, reads or acts on it, and checks again inside the page, so a redirect to another site is caught too. • Downloads the agent starts go through Chrome's download manager and are cancelled if the file finally comes from a site you have not approved. • Password, one-time-code and card fields are protected: the agent cannot click, fill or type into them, their values are never read, and screenshots are refused while such a field holds a value. You complete sign-ins yourself and hand control back. • A small arrow shows where the agent is clicking, so you can watch it work. Move your own mouse and it disappears. Privacy The extension talks only to the RushAgent app on your computer, through Chrome native messaging. It has no server of its own and sends nothing to the internet itself. It reads page content (an outline of the page's controls, its text, screenshots of the visible tab, tab addresses and titles) only in RushAgent's own tab groups and only when the app asks. What the RushAgent app does with it is described in the privacy policy: https://rush-ai.dev/chrome-extension/privacy Requirements • The RushAgent desktop app for macOS, installed on the same computer (https://rush-ai.dev/developer). • Chrome's site access for the extension set to "On all sites" (the default at installation). RushAgent still asks you before each new site. The extension does nothing on its own: without the RushAgent app running, it stays idle.
