RUsat - Focus Helper
Overview
A free to use extension which allows the user to customize "soft restrictions" on distracting websites to stay focused.
In the attention economy your focus and attention are worth a lot to app and website companies. This can become problematic when trying to study or work. R.U.S.A.T. helps you by non-intrusively allowing you to access sites you may genuinely need to use for school or work by adding an extra layer of resistance allowing you to check yourself before sinking an hour into YouTube before your final's exams. R.U.S.A.T. (R U Sure About That?) is a free to use extension which will allow you to focus and stop sinking time into mindless websites when distracted. It works by letting the user create "soft restrictions" on websites they wish not to get distracted on while working such as TikTok, Twitter, etc. When the user tries to access these websites, they will be greeted with a screen which asks the user "R U Sure About That?".
