Browser automation companion for the Runback desktop app. Records and runs automations on web pages you choose.

Runback is the in-browser agent for the Runback desktop automation application (downloaded separately from https://www.runbackai.com). It lets you record the steps you perform on a website and then replay them automatically. What it does • Record: captures the clicks, typing, and navigation you perform so Runback can turn them into a repeatable automation. • Run: replays your saved automation on the website you chose — locating elements, clicking, typing, and navigating as you did. • Works with the Runback desktop app: this extension is controlled by, and reports results to, the Runback application installed on your computer. It does nothing on its own. How it works The extension communicates only with the locally-installed Runback desktop app via Chrome native messaging (and a localhost fallback). It acts on a web page only when you explicitly record or run an automation you created. It does not monitor your browsing in the background. You need the Runback desktop application for this extension to function. Get it at https://www.runbackai.com.
