An extension to exclude russian content from Google search results
RuFilter – a browser extension that makes Google search results more relevant for Ukrainian users. The main feature of the plugin is filtering search results by language using the lr parameter, allowing you to exclude Russian-language content and restrict results to Ukrainian or English. Additional options are available for excluding domains and characters for even finer control. Key Features Language Filter (parameter lr): - Restrict search results to Ukrainian or English. - Exclude results in Russian. Additional Exclusions: - Block sites with .ru domains and ru.wikipedia.org. - Exclude results containing Russian characters. - Add a custom list of sites to block. How to Set Up: - Click the RuFilter icon on your browser toolbar. - In the "Language Filter" section, select your preferred search result language. - In the "Search Exclusions" section, configure additional options to block domains or characters. The selected settings are automatically applied to search queries. To disable filtering, adjust the selected options. Latest Updates (Version 1.31): - Fixed an issue where duplicate words in the query were removed. - The lr parameter remains unchanged if "Do not apply filter" is selected. - The conflicting tbs parameter is automatically removed.
