Developer tools that work with Microsoft Dynamics 365: unlock fields, logical names, plug-in trace logs, form scripts, metadata.

RTU Dev Tools speeds up development and troubleshooting of Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Apps model-driven apps — right in your browser, with your own sign-in. • Record info – entity, record ID, form type; copy entity name and record ID • Unlock form – make locked, hidden and required fields editable and visible on the client, and restore them with one more click (never saves the record) • Logical names – switch field labels to logical names and back • Field information – searchable list of fields incl. header, business process flow and composite fields, option set values • Plug-in Trace Viewer – filter, read and inspect plug-in trace logs; change the trace log setting with confirmation • Form Scripts – libraries and event handlers registered on the form, with the code of each library • DevTools panel "RTU Form Scripts" (F12) – see the form's event handlers right in Chrome DevTools and jump with one click to the function definition in Sources to set a breakpoint • Metadata Browser – fields, option sets, lookups and relationships; copy as Markdown or JavaScript • Plug-in Viewer – registered assemblies, plug-ins and steps (read-only) • Task Analyzer – check a development task against your environment's metadata and copy it as Markdown for AI • Record search – quick search of records by entity and simple conditions; open the record form • All record data – every field and value of the record; optionally edit values with a summary of changes, explicit confirmation and a concurrency check (saved via the Web API under your own permissions) • Advanced Find and command checker shortcuts • Impersonation – test as another Dynamics 365 user in one tab (Web API caller ID; requires the "Act on Behalf of Another User" privilege; clearly marked in the tab and on the toolbar icon) • On-premise / custom Dynamics 365 servers – add your server address in Settings (access is requested only for that address) • English and Czech UI; optional donation link in Settings Privacy: all processing happens locally in your browser.
