RTC Waves Passwords

RTC Passwords is the companion extension for the RTC Waves password manager. It lets you search, copy, and autofill your saved credentials directly on the sites you visit, without leaving the page. REQUIRES AN RTC WAVES PORTAL This extension does nothing on its own. It connects to your organisation's RTC Waves portal and unlocks the passwords already stored there. If you don't have an RTC Waves account, there is nothing to install this for. WHAT IT DOES - Autofill username, password, and one-time codes into login forms with one click, or from the right-click menu. - Only offers the credentials that match the site you're currently on. - Copy any field to the clipboard when you need to paste it yourself. - Generate strong passwords when creating or updating an account. - Unlock your vault with your master key and lock it automatically after a period of inactivity. BUILT FOR CREDENTIALS, HANDLED CAREFULLY - Your master key lives in memory only. It never touches disk and is wiped when you close the browser or after inactivity. - Your credentials travel only between your browser and your own RTC Waves portal. The extension does not send them to any RTC Waves system of its own. - The extension asks for no access to any website up front. You grant each portal's domain yourself, one at a time, when you add it — and revoking it cuts off access immediately. - When a password is shown on a page, it is rendered in an isolated area that the website's own code cannot read. - The clipboard is cleared automatically a short time after you copy a secret. GETTING STARTED Open the extension, add your RTC Waves portal, sign in, and unlock your vault with your master key. Your master key is set up in the portal itself (/passwords/my), where the full recovery warning is shown — the extension only unlocks it.
