Royal GuardRails - Focus mode for Royal Road
Overview
Hide comments, reviews, and notifications on Royal Road so you can focus on your writing.
This extension is built for one thing: helping Royal Road authors ignore input and write. Every time you open your dashboard, Royal Road greets you with comment cards, review scores, and notification badges. It's nearly impossible not to check them — and once you do, your writing session can be negatively Affected. Royal GuardRails lets you hide all of it with a single click, so you can update your chapters, check your stats, and get back to writing without falling into the feedback spiral. What it hides: Recent Comments card on your Author Dashboard Latest Comments card on fiction pages Recent Reviews card on your Author Dashboard Latest Reviews card on fiction pages Notification count badges in the navbar and author page How it works: Click the Royal GuardRails icon in your toolbar and toggle whatever you want hidden. Your preferences are saved automatically. Flip them back on any time you're ready to engage with readers. Private by design: Royal GuardRails never collects, stores, or transmits any data. Everything stays in your browser. No account needed, no servers, no tracking — ever. Built by a Royal Road author who kept reading their reviews when they should have been writing.
