Belongs to the squash family (Cucurbitaceae). The fruit is round and slightly flattened, the skin is dark green, with small bright spots on the surface. The plant has a long climbing stem, large, wide leaves, with fine hairs. The flowers are bright yellow, large, funnel-shaped. When ripe, the fruit often turns orange-yellow or yellow-brown, the inside is orange-yellow, thick and sweet. Uses: Pumpkin is used to cook soup, steam, make cakes, cook sweet soup... Rich in vitamins A, C, fiber, good for the eyes, cardiovascular system and immune system. Roasted pumpkin seeds are edible, rich in zinc and magnesium.
