)Overview
Analyze text sentiment locally in the browser.
Analyze text sentiment locally in your browser with private, on-device AI. RoomReader is a private, local sentiment analyzer for text you are reading or writing in the browser. Use it to quickly check whether a post, comment, review, message, or page excerpt reads as positive, neutral, or negative. You can paste text directly into the popup or use Collect Page Text to pull text from the active page after a user action. RoomReader runs sentiment analysis inside the extension using a bundled machine learning model. Text is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to an external AI API. Features: - Analyze pasted text from the extension popup. - Collect selected or visible page text from the active tab. - See positive, neutral, or negative sentiment with model confidence. - Process longer text with progress feedback. - Run locally with WebGPU when available and WebAssembly fallback when needed. - No account required. - No external AI API calls. Sentiment analysis is probabilistic and may be incorrect, especially with sarcasm, jokes, mixed emotions, niche context, or ambiguous wording. Use RoomReader as a quick reading aid, not as a definitive judgment about a person, group, or situation.
