Roomie turns Netflix, YouTube, and Hotstar into a shared living room. Open a video, start a party, share the invite link, and watch in sync with your friends — wherever they are. Features • Synced playback — play, pause, seek, and episode changes stay in lockstep for everyone in the party. • Chat in a sidebar — Teleparty-style chat lives next to the player so nobody has to alt-tab. • Animated reactions — tap an emoji to float an animated reaction across everyone's screen. • GIFs in chat — pick from millions of GIFs powered by GIPHY. • Voice chat — talk mid-watch, with optional auto-pause-while-talking. • Video chat — turn your camera on to see each other in a tile strip above the chat. • Private rooms — host approves each guest before they can join. • Host controls — mute or remove participants from your party. • Custom profile — pick a name color, chat badge, and your own reaction set (6 or 12). • Typing indicator — see when someone is composing a message. • Mini toolbar — collapse the sidebar to a small pill so the video stays the main attraction.
