Overview

Save and organize your LinkedIn contacts effortlessly. Search, add notes and reminders, and group contacts into campaigns.

RolodexIn turns the profiles you already visit into a contact database you own. Open a LinkedIn profile and a private panel appears beside it. Save the person, say where the relationship stands, tag them, write a note, set a follow-up. Everything you write is yours alone: it is never shown to LinkedIn, never shared with other users, never sold, and never used to train models. The extension is half the product. The other half is a web dashboard for the same account, where the whole database is searchable, exportable, and organised into campaigns. ON A PROFILE — THE SIDEBAR • Opens on every linkedin.com/in/ profile you visit, and fills instantly from a local cache rather than waiting on the network. • Relationship status in one click: Viewed, Not yet met, Reached out, Met once, Active, Do not contact. • Free-form tags. Type a word, press Enter. No taxonomy to learn, no fixed list to fit into. • Notes with history. The box holds your latest note; every earlier version is kept, timestamped, and one click away. • A follow-up reminder date. Your browser notifies you when it comes due, and the notification opens their profile. • The campaigns this person is part of, with the stage they are at in each, and a control to add them to another. • Collapses to a small floating button when you want the page to yourself, and reopens from the toolbar. • Keeps working offline and signed out. Edits are cached locally and queued, then sync when you are back. ON SEARCH RESULTS — ONE-CLICK CAPTURE On people search, My Network, and a company's People tab, the panel lists the people on the page instead — one row each, with a Save button. • Save someone without opening their profile, then keep scrolling. • Rows you have already saved say so, resolved locally rather than by asking the server about each person. • A search box filters the people found on the page by name, headline, or company. • With a campaign pinned, Save becomes Save + Add: one click creates the contact and files them into that campaign, with an Undo on the last one. There is no select-all, no save-on-scroll, and no bulk capture. Every record is one deliberate click. IN THE TOOLBAR POPUP • Search your whole contact database from anywhere, not just on LinkedIn. • Your five most recently worked-on contacts, one click from their full record. • Sign in, see your plan, reopen a closed sidebar, jump to the dashboard. IN THE DASHBOARD — CONTACTS • Every contact in one table: photo, name, headline, company, status, tags, latest note, reminder, date added. • Search across names, headlines, companies, reminder labels, and the full text of your notes. • Filter by tag, by relationship status, or by reminder state — overdue, upcoming, none. Sort by date added, last updated, due date, or name, in either direction. • Saved views: name any combination of search, filters and sort, and it becomes a chip you can return to. Views have their own links, so a morning routine can be a bookmark. Rename, reorder, close, or delete them; nothing ever auto-saves over a view you rely on. • A full record page per contact: every note in order, editable and deletable, with the original text kept behind an "edited" marker; tags, status, reminder, campaigns, and a link back to the profile. IN THE DASHBOARD — REMINDERS Every active follow-up in one place, split into overdue and upcoming, earliest first, with a one-click snooze of seven days. IN THE DASHBOARD — CAMPAIGNS A campaign — an initiative — is a goal with people attached: a role you are filling, a raise or sales push you are running, a job search across several companies. It answers the question a contact list cannot: how is this effort going, and who moved it? • Four types, each seeded with the stages that suit it: talent hunt, lead generation, job search, and custom. • A kanban board of that campaign's stages. Drag someone from Contacted to Replied to Screened. • A table of the same people, where you set each person's role — candidate, referrer, intro source, hiring manager, investor, champion, and more — and mark who turned out to be pivotal. • Log calls, messages, meetings, interviews and intros against a person in a campaign, and unfold their whole history under the row. • The same person can sit in several campaigns at once, at a different stage and in a different role in each. Their contact record is untouched by any of it. • Close a campaign as a success, a failure, or cancelled, with a note on the outcome — and reopen it later, losing nothing. • A retrospective per campaign: the outcome, how long it ran, the funnel by stage, and the people you flagged as pivotal. It stays reachable long after the campaign is closed, which is the point — it is what you read before starting the next one. YOUR DATA LEAVES WHENEVER YOU WANT • Contacts as CSV, and every campaign as CSV, on every plan including the free one. Exporting is never the thing you have to pay for. • Full-history JSON of both on the paid plans, notes and interactions included. • A per-campaign CSV of the member table or the retrospective, as filtered on screen. • Deleting a contact deletes it. HOW IT TREATS LINKEDIN This is a read-and-annotate tool, and it is built to stay one. • It never clicks, connects, messages, endorses, or submits anything on your behalf. No automation of any kind. • It calls no LinkedIn API and reads no LinkedIn cookie, token, or session. • It changes nothing on the page. The panel lives in its own shadow root beside LinkedIn's markup, never inside it. • It reads five fields from a profile you have opened yourself — name, headline, company, profile URL, and photo URL — and nothing else. It does not read your feed, your inbox, or your messages. • It never bulk-collects. Records are created one at a time, by your click or by your visit. PLANS Free — 50 contacts, 10 notes per contact, 10 active reminders, 10 campaigns, 3 saved views, browser notifications, and both CSV exports. No credit card. Solo, $7/month — unlimited contacts, notes, reminders, campaigns and saved views, plus full-history JSON export. Pro, $15/month — everything in Solo, plus custom campaign types with editable stages and roles. Both paid plans are 20% cheaper billed annually. Payment is handled on the RolodexIn dashboard, not in the extension. WHAT YOU NEED A Chrome-based browser and a RolodexIn account, created with Google sign-in on the dashboard. The extension will cache and queue your edits while you are signed out, but syncing, search, and the dashboard need an account. RolodexIn is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, and LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation.
